  1. Heat oil in a pan.
    Add sliced onion and deep fry the onion and strain it.
  2. Dry roast the coriander seeds, cumin seeds, whole red chilli, cinnamon stick, cloves and cardamom, once cooled to make a powder.
  3. Marinate chicken with curd,ginger garlic, salt, fried onion paste, red chilli powder and kashmiri mirch powder.
  4. Keep aside for 4 - 5 hours.
    Heat oil in a pan add onion paste and saute for 4 - 5 mins now add marinated chicken pieces and turmeric powder and cook in a medium flame until oil leaves the pan.
  5. Add half cup of water and bring to boil,once boiled keep it in a low flame and cook for five mins.
  6. Serve hot with chapati or rice.
