- 2-3 medium onions
- 3-4 cloves garlic
- 1 small piece ginger
- 8-9 tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cup yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 7-8 green chillies
- 1 tsp dry fenugreek (kasuri methi)
- 6-7 tbsp achar gosht masala
Instructions to make to make Achari Chicken 🐔
- In a wok add oil and put chicken pieces one by one, keep the flame medium. Otherwise chicken leaves it’s water.


- Roughly chop the ginger garlic together and the onions separately.


- Now when the chicken turns it’s color, add tomatoes, chopped ginger garlic and onions.Cover and cook till tomatoes turn soft. Remove the skin of tomatoes and roughly mash them with the ladle.


- Now add salt and the masala according to your taste. I added about 4 tbsp. Bring away from stove and add yogurt. Mix well and cook till chicken is done.



- In 2-3 tbsp of masala, add 1 lemon juice and 2 tbsp water to make a paste. Fill the chillies. Top the chicken with kasuri methi and filled chillies.



- Serve with Naan, homemade paratha, raita, salad and enjoy!
