  1. 1 & 1/2 kg chicken with bones Along with 2 chicken steak pieces to get raishay daar kebabs
  2. 3/4 kg chana daal
  3. 1 tbsp salt
  4. 12 button chilli
  5. 6 green chilli
  6. 1 tbsp zeera
  7. 1 bunch fresh coriander/ Dhania
  8. 1 tbsp black pepper powder
  9. 1 tsp garam masala
  10. 3 onion 🧅
  11. 2 tbsp ginger
  12. 1 tbsp garlic
  13. 3 eggs

Steps to make to make Chicken shami kebabs

  1. Soak daal for 2 hrs
    Cook chicken with bones, (add chicken steak pieces also)in 3 glass of water on low flame for 20 minutes.
  2. Cook & remove bones.
  3. Remove chicken and separates from bones and keep aside.
    Add daal in chicken broth along with ginger, garlic, zeera, button chillies and 1 onion 🧅
  4. Add shredded chicken & salt in daal after 15 minutes.
    If needed add little more water and cook on medium flame until daal is completely done & there’s no remaining water in it.
  5. Grind the mixture using sil batta or use machine.
    Add eggs, black pepper powder, garam masalah.
    Add chopped 2 onions (don’t make a paste).
    Add chopped fresh dhania and green chillies. Mix well and adjust spice to your taste.
  6. Add chopped 🧅 onion but don’t make a paste or it will release water & make kebabs soggi.
  7. Add eggs & chopped fresh coriander & mint along with green chilli.
  8. Mix in a chopper.
  9. Make kebabs & freeze in airtight box layering with cellophane in between so they wont stick together.
  10. Enjoy with mint, imli chutney.
