- 4 green chilli whole
- 3/4th cup oil
- 1 tsp whole garam masalah
- 1 tsp Pulao zeera (black cumin).for dum
Steps to make to make Desi style chicken pulao
- Heat oil, add whole garam masala. (2 cloves, 4 black pepper, 2"cinamin stick, 2 bay leaves). Add 2 green chillies, and onion, fry till light golden, add chicken.
- Stir for 5 minutes, add ginger paste, all dry spices and cook for 5 minutes, add tomatoes,half cup water cover and cook at low flame for 5-7 minutes. Stir and add dahi.cook for 5 minutes.

- Add potatoes and stir and add water, according to your rice quality.(or as I mentioned into ingredients).
- Soak rice for half an hour.


- Stir and cook until water dries and rice are done. Sprinkle black cumin and 2 green chillies. Put on dum for 10-15 minutes.
