- 2 tsp lime juice
- 1/2 cup water

- Marinate the chicken pieces with lime juice, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder and set aside 30 minutes.



- Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat.. Add mustard seeds, cloves, cardamoms, Cinnamon and curry leaves saute them for few minutes.

- Add chopped onions and fry until golden brown.

- Add chopped tomatoes and saute for few minutes.

- When the colour changes, add ginger and garlic paste and saute again until aromat.

- Then add marinated chicken and mix well. Add 1/2 cup water for it to cook, and cover it for 10 - 15 minutes.

- After 15 minutes open the lid and add 1 cup thick coconut milk. Mix it well and cook for few minutes.

- After few minutes add garam masala powder and mix well.

- Cook for 3 -4 minutes and turn off the stove.
